Back-to-Back Weeks of Fun!

Since Thanksgiving, we have had back-to-back excitement! With Mama and Grampy coming to celebrate Thanksgiving with us, then Gee came for a week to play and help Mommy, then we went for a family vacation in Nashville. Somewhere in the middle, we had time to see Uncle Bud a little, decorate for Christmas (and shop), practice with the big girl potty, and play in the snow! The pictures are not in great order, but you'll get the picture of how much fun we've had! After we returned from vacation, Papa and Nana came to celebrate Christmas with us in Chicago and now Mama and Grampy are here celebrating New Year's! And we just found out Uncle Eddie is surprising us with a visit this weekend! Can't wait to see you Uncle Eddie! We are so blessed to have such amazing family and friends! Introducing . . . Baby Brobst #2

Everything at our 1st apt. today looked good! All of the nurses said this was the cutest ultrasound picture for 9 weeks! Ha! I couldn't believe you could already see such a little cutie in there! About the size of a grape, but the head, body, and arms/legs could clearly be seen as it moved all around. Thanks for your prayers for a healthy pregnancy and baby.

Trick or Treat!

What a great Halloween with our little pumpkin! She loved trick or treating (walked 4 blocks worth of houses) and loved passing out candy even more!

Addison's New Shirt

I'm not sure what the big deal is, but everyone seems excited around here! :-)

We feel so blessed to have this news to share! This song has so much meaning to me during this time after seeing other close family and friends struggle with fertility and recognizing that we all have our own big burdens in life to endure. The amazing thing is that through it all, God does not change. As a family, we celebrate Him in times of blessing and in the challenging times too.
Please pray for a healthy pregnancy and baby, due June 5th.
My 1st ultrasound will be November 2nd.
Addison already looks like a big sister doesn't she? :-)

Busy, Busy!

Between travel, company, super busy work schedules, and having fun with baby girl I've been really bad (again) with keeping in touch and keeping you posted on things. Sorry! Here's a little snap shot of what we've been up to lately.

Our quick weekend trip to Sherman to see Pop & Gee's amazing new house and swimming pool was a blast! Miss you all!

Addison's First Cubs Game (outside the tummy)!!! We sat next to another little girl named Addison who shared her sign with us! Ha! For those who don't know, Addison is the name of the street and EL Stop for Wriggley Field. Thanks for coming to visit Joseph! We had so much fun playing and can't wait to see you again!

And Addison's new baby cousin, Duncan Hawson, has arrived! Welcome to the world little angel! We can't wait to see you soon!
